There are plenty of great garages in the Falkirk area, this one is definitely not included in that.I used them when I first started driving and wasn't too clued up about cars, they seemed okay at first and so I made David Graham my go to garage. After some dodgy work on my MOT for my car I said I'd never go back.. However I did end up going back with a different car quite some time later. The car went in for a small job, which then turned into a larger job due a discovered oil leak. I was quoted a very high price for the part that needed to be replaced and was told the part only came in pairs -for each side of the car - from the manufacturer which was bollocks.. I not long after taking the car home, realised that the garage had lost the plastic engine-guard from under the car.. The job ended getting up done elsewhere for a fraction of the price I was quoted.I decided to give them one last chance after this experience as it was MOT time. My MOT failed on something that I thought it might which was no big deal because the repair was inexpensive to do.. I asked Graham behind the desk to give me a detail of everything I needed done along with a quote. I had to the garage up for about 3-4 hours and called them 3 times. The parts which he told me about seemed to be different every time I called and the quoted price was again extortionate. I took the car to a close friend who is a mechanic, got exactly what was fixed on the MOT slip fixed and was told that the garage had missed something which they should've picked up on the first time, needless to say the car failed again and I argued my case after I was told I would have to pay for another test due to failing again. I fixed it myself within 20 minutes, took it back and didn't pay for a retest. I was told I had to wait until the MOT testing area was free before they could retest, so I sat around. After 20-30 minutes I went to the small shop next door to get some juice, came back and my car hadn't moved at all ( I knew this because I parked slightly squint and nothing had been moved from the seats)I went back into the office and was given an MOT pass sheet.. They kept me there all that time without even looking at the car. I will not be going back, these guys are crooks and their labour/minimum charges are through the roof!
If I could rate this a 0 I would - Absolutely shocking service!!! I've had my car in 3 times now to this garage and although they charge you every time for diagnostic checks and parts it still wasn't fixed. On my 3rd visit I had to actually get one of the guys to come out in the car to show him what was wrong with it. Now I'm having to pay 1200 from another garage out on faults as I've caused the car more damage by driving it!! The guy is so rude on the phone too! He doesnt have any time for you!! Told me it was my own fault - yeah, because I'm a mechanic & I know whats wrong with it. Don't use this garage if you know what's good for you!!
Got a MOT and these guys were great. Called the night before and dropped off the following morning. Brilliant service from a local garage.
My go-to garage for servicing and repairs. A fraction of the cost of the Audi garage and much more convenient. Good Garage accredited too.
Fantastic service, quick to get parts and have repairs done, keep you up to date at every stage. Good honest information. Great prices. Highly recommended.
