Great to see new shops opening here Wish they would bring back the in-shops section
Used to have a lot of good clothes shops etc, now everything is closing down and going elsewhere. Better going to Stirling or Glasgow.
Lots of good shops would like to see more shops though as a lot have closed down which is a pity. Maybe if the rents were lower would encourage small businesses
The howgate is not the centre it used to be when m&s was there. There is still a great array of shops for shoppers and now moving the post office in will make a difference.
This can be a bit hit and miss as kept clean and location is good but close by parking is under the centre although rates are reasonable. Some big name stores but think it needs a bit more variable stores . Cafe/ food places aren't too bad if it's not too busy , lifts , toilets all clean and well maintained. Good if in the area or a quick shopping visit but i prefer stirling as number if shops available is better.
