The Battle of Falkirk Memorial cairn was Built in 2007 by The Society Of William Wallace as a simple reminder of those who Fought and Died for Scottish sovereignty Sir William Wallace along with Sir John De Graeme Sir John Stewart of Bonkyll and McDuff of Fife stood their ground at falkirkIt waa a massive defeat with the loss of Stewart and Graeme it would End Wallace's military campaign and mark the beginning of the End For wallace ...just over seven years later he would be murdered at Smithfield london on the orders of King Edward I

Memorial Cairn to commemorate the Battle of Falkirk in 1298. It is situated just a short walk from the main car park for Callendar Park. Serving as a reminder of those lost to the battle fought somewhere in the general near area on Falkirk soil, it is well worth a visit for those interested in historical events.
