Incredible pieces of Art. Depicting two mythological creatures known as Kelpies who take the form of incredible horses to lure their favourite food of humans! The heads appear to rise out of the water. The park in which they are situated is huge, sprawling and relatively flat with excellent pathways. There is a great play ground for kids and a lake for activities in the warmer months.
Wonderful place to have a fun outdoor with the whole family. There you can find the best kids playground. So much to do and explore. Especially if you are lucky with the Scottish weather. It's a must see place for all Scotland visitors
Kelpies are amazing steel horse sculptures set around a reclaimed industrial area close to Union Canal and Falkirk Wheel. Flat and easily accessible with lots of activities to keep kids amused. Fascinating setting with rich industrial history...and very modern backdrop.
Perfect place to visit with children and the dog! Kids can ride there bikes while the dog gets a good run! We love it!
Brilliant spot. We used it as a stop on a long journey & it was perfect. Great open space and play park for kids of all ages. Also dog friendly with a smashing area to exercise dog. We also had a coffee and ice cream in the cafe where the staff were extremely pleasant. All in all an amazing area to visit and spend a few hours at.
